Education Studies Integrative Concentration
I have been passionate about teaching for as long as I can remember, but if I had to guess where it started, I would probably say Ms. Robin.

When I was five years old, I was lucky enough to be placed in Sue Robin's kindergarten class. As I grew older and moved on from her classroom, she invited me back to help her organize the class and prepare lesson plans. I sat with Ms. Robin day after day, grading, gluing, drawing, carving, and talking.
It's been 17 years since I sat on our kindergarten class rainbow rug, but I still remember what it felt like to look up at my teacher and giggle. I'm lucky enough now to hear those same giggles when my preschool students look up at me from our polk-a-dot rug, as I read them many of the same stories Ms. Robin read to me.
I feel so lucky to have spent my time at Oberlin learning, teaching, and learning how to teach.
Observatory Assistant
After taking the Astronomy 100 course in my freshman year at Oberlin, I started working at the Observatory and Taylor Planetarium that sits atop Peters Hall. I've spent the last 3 years as an Observatory Assistant, working alongside Dave Lengyl to teach new Astronomy students and Oberlin community members how to navigate the night sky.
OberlinKids Consulting Work
For my Advanced Methods in Marketing Research course with Dr. Nancy Darling, I served as a marketing consultant for the nonprofit organization OberlinKids. In this role, I assisted the organization with event organizing, survey work, and community focus groups for the purpose of expanding and improving the community's access to OberlinKids services.
